Our inaugral artist is Britton Walters, the maniacal genius behind www.nerfect.com Mr. Walters is an artist working and living in the Chicago area. By day, he makes his living designing packaging, and at night, he spends a lot of time drawing pictures of things like ghosts with mustaches, magical ducks, hot dogs of a diabolical nature, and the like. We are thrilled to have him be our first onesie, with the magical duckie! check it out at http://www.sheriffpeanut.com/shop/artist-series/artist-series-nerfect.html/ and get to ordering cause these ain’t gonna last, and you’re gonna be quacking mad if you miss it! This weekend signifies the close of my craft fair season, and why not go out with a bang? I’ll be participating in two great fairs in Chicago this weekend. The first is Depart-ment located at the AV-aerie, on the corner of Fulton and Damon. That one is starting Friday evening, and running through Sunday.

The second is Renegade Holiday, located at Pulaski Park Auditorium. That one is going on Saturday and Sunday. Whooo! Wish me luck!
I know this is a little late, but I just wanted to give a shout out to Washington DC’s Crafty Bastards craft fair! As usual, everyone was amazing, from the organizers and the volunteers to the customers. I love doing this fair, and not just cause I get a chance to see my nieces, who live in Arlington. I didn’t get to leave my booth much, despite my mother being there to help (thanks, Ma!), but I did get to run by and see my buddies David and Maggie from Loyalty & Blood, Vic and Charlie from Girlypants, Kelly and Kasey from Biggs and Featherbelle and Jeni and Yuko from Saltlick, NYC. Other than that I didn’t really get to leave my booth. I didn’t get much of a chance to mess around in DC either, but we did go to the Phillips Collection and saw a lot of fantastic modern art and to the Jim Henson exhibit at the Smithsonian, which was AWESOME.
In other Crafty Bastard news, thanks to everyone who voted for me in the Craftiest Bastard ‘08 contest. I WON! I am so proud. Thank you all for all your support! And my parents insist on me adding a correction that I am not, technically, a bastard.
